3D Design and Sculpture
This course is for the High School Visual Arts Curriculum. 3-D Design provides an overview and introduction to fine crafts, their media, and the cultures they represent. With an emphasis on studio production, this course is designed to develop higher-level thinking, art related technology skill, art criticism, art history, and aesthetics. Create expressive 3-D design using art elements, including line, shape, texture, form, contrast, and unity. • Create expressive 3-D design using art principles to organize the art elements, including emphasis, repetition, and unity.
3D Design and Craft students will explore and develop their creative potential by engaging in a broad range of 2D and 3D visual researches and practical exercises by sequentially investigating line, shape, form and structure from which a basic 3D vocabulary, methodology and craft skills will start to emerge. |
